I stupidly chucked the babys drink cup in my handbag with mobile phone. Me being the impatient thing I am thought phone was dry plugged into elec to try to revitalise, lol, and cooked it, got very hot luckily didnt cook my sim card which is a monthly plan.
Now the stupidity continues, I panic go oh dear gotta have new phone, go to ebay and purchase what looks like a good deal, brand new in a box, ZTE T6 telstra locked mobile next g network which is what i want cos that is what last phone was a next g network, but I didnt notice till now that its prepaid. Now can I just put in my sim from my plan phone and get it to work, I tried it with our ten dollar aldi phone which is a prepaid and seemed to work, ie i could call my number on it just dont know how the billing would work if I called out on it, wasnt willing to go that far in the experiment without knowing more about this pre paid business.
Why do they put pre paid on a phone, how is it different from any other phone seeing as you have to have sim cards for them all these days? Please somebody explain these very basic things to me, I am definately not phone savy, I keep my mobile in the bottom of my bag for emergencies only really, I rarely even key in any numbers to it lol. They dont make much money out of me on mobile phone plans. love and thanks in advance alyssa
