Before I had the luxury of NOT having to rush to work & walking dogs was my top priority, I used to grab a bit of toast with vegemite & a cuppa on the run. Agree that the first one of the day is the best. Then I came to understand the importance of having a good protein breakfast & also the benefits of eating gluten/lactose free as possible.

So I've found a nice muesli, Carmens & use Liddles LF milk. They started making a nice yoghurt with berries. I always add fruit, banana, tin peaches if fresh not in season. Today I had a nectarine. Then add shaved almonds & chia seeds for extra protein.

Sometimes add lecithin which is good for the brain but it spoils the taste a bit. Yesterday I wasn't feeling that hungry for cereal so made up a sensational smoothie with juice of an orange, frozen blueberries & watermelon, frozen banana...got the tip to buy when cheap or when overripe, chia seeds & a little fresh mango. With a side of yoghurt, mango & shaved almonds. My type of breakfasts are not for the time poor.
